Empowering Youth Civic Engagement: „Youth Activation“ Project Unveiled

In a swiftly evolving global landscape where technological advancements often overshadow civic issues, the decline in young people’s active engagement and knowledge about civil society rights remains a growing concern. The modern world’s focus on technology has led to a diminished awareness among youth about their civil rights and responsibilities, potentially affecting their future roles as active citizens. Recognizing these challenges, the „Youth Activation“ project has emerged as a crucial step towards bridging this gap.

Core objective

The project’s core objective is to address the declining youth activity by shedding light on the challenges faced and devising practical solutions. The initiative aims to stimulate creative thinking, enhance communication, and emphasize teamwork among young individuals through engaging activities and interactive sessions. Additionally, the project seeks to bolster awareness about civic engagement among youth through informational meetings and discussions, facilitating their active participation in societal issues.

Preperation

To prepare the participants adequately, various pre-project activities have been planned. An exclusive Facebook group will be established to foster early communication among participants, encouraging collaboration and idea generation. Diverse themes will be introduced for preliminary brainstorming, focusing on intercultural perspectives from partner organizations. Upon project approval, designated individuals from each organization will assume responsibility for key tasks, ensuring effective cross-cultural engagement and risk mitigation measures.

The project management and quality assurance measures have been meticulously strategized in collaboration with the partner organization. „By laying down clear groundwork for accommodation, transport, and preliminary activities, we aim to ensure a seamless and qualitative execution of project activities,“ added the project coordinator.
